Fun facts! Galileo's real name was Galileo Divincezo Bonaivtide' Galilei. When he first saw a compound microscope he thought of some improvements that it could have. Galileo did not invent the telescope. Galileo lived 78 years.

(1564-1642) Galileo was a famous astronomer that discovered four of Jupiter's moons. Galileo also discovered that the moon had craters and was not a smooth round ball. He discovered these things by looking at the stars through a telescope. Galileo believed the Copernicus theory which was that the sun was the center of the universe.
